Computers and the way children use them is changing at such a dramatic rate that many parents can barely keep up with all the technological changes. Many parents have said: "I don't need to know how to use the computer, my children can show me if I need anything."

However, what happens if your child is being stalked by a predator? Or if your child is involved in online activities that they shouldn't be? As a parent, It is your responsibility (both moral and legal) to ensure that your children are protected online.

The only way that you can protect them is to know more than they do when it comes to computer usage, especially as it pertains to online activities.

At Stadtlander Designs we provide information to parents via free and paid seminars as well as one-on-one consulting. Free seminars are large "community service" educational sessions for groups of 100 or more. The paid seminars or one-on-one teachings are small in-home lessons or lectures where we show individuals how to actually perform monitoring and how to use the computer.

The goal of Stadtlander Designs is not to simply 'tell' you about problems that your children are facing. Our goal is to 'show' you how to combat these problems if they exist in your home, but more importantly how to prevent potentially dangerous situations from developing.

We believe information and computer knowledge is imperative for today's parents. However, most importantly an open dialogue between parents and children is the best way to protect our children.
