Q. How much does it cost to get a web site up?
A. This is a very common question, and very difficult to sum up in one answer. A web site is a very individualized product sort of like a sign for a business. It really depends on how complex the site is and what the business owner wants to convey with their web site. Some business owners simply want to have a couple of photos and basic contact information. Other business want their clients to be able to order products and services online. We have found that on average; a basic web site that contains simple contact information and a description of products and services offered will typically run between $800.00 to $3,000.00 depending on what you are looking for. Sites that are more complex and have databases and interactive screens can run upwards of $5,000.00 to $10,000.00. It basically depends on the amount of time that our designers must spend on the project.

Q. How long does it take to design a web site?
A. Typically, if the site is a simple informational web site it can be up and running in as little as 2 weeks. However, we have found the average of our site to be about 30-40 days to complete.

Q. What is involved in designing a web site?

A. You will meet with a designer to determine what fits your needs the best. There will be three phases to the web site:

Phase I - You will then be presented with a “Rough” or sketch of what your web site will look like. There is no cost to you up to that point.

Phase II - After you have approved the "Rough" a contract is signed and your web site will then be created. This phase is billed on a 'Set Project Scope' amount. The protects you in that you will not be billed any more than the quote and protects us to ensure that the services are accurately billed. You will sign off on the final product once it is presented and your web site will then move into Phase III

Phase III - The maintenance phase. This phase is billed on a time and material basis and is primarily just for basic changes (eg. changes in directions, contact information other minor information).

Q. How will people access my web site?
A. Your web site will be accessible from anywhere in the world 24 hours a day. Once you have registered your domain name, (we can take care of this for you) your customers will be able to access your web site by typing in your domain name in any web browser. You can choose to host your site with us, or any other hosting company.

Q. How will people find out about my web site?
A. Once you have registered your domain name (ex. www.yourdomain.com) you may put it on your business cards, stationary and any other marketing resource you have. 1Your site will also show up when people type your business name or business type into a search engine2.

Pricing Structure

Our design services are priced on a "Set Project Scope" quote. This means that you are given an amount that your site will cost and the price can not go up or down for the remainder of the project. This is based on how much time we believe that the project will take and based on the hourly pricing structure shown below. The magnitude of the site doesn't affect the quality of service as we feel that all of our clients should be treated equally whether you need a one page informational site, or a complex e-commerce site.
